Enable Multilingual Support

Enabling languages across the entire site is a crucial step. Always start with this action before translating your price list. Once enabled, your site can automatically display in the visitor's browser language.

  1. Go to Site Editor > Languages.

  2. In the Languages section, enable the additional languages you wish to offer.


Translate a Detailed Price List

A detailed price list includes sections (starters, main courses, desserts...) and items (dishes and price variations). Here's how to proceed:

  1. Go to Settings > Price List.

  2. In the Languages section, enable the additional languages you wish to offer.

Example: if you want to offer your price list in English, enable this language and fill in the required fields.

Step 2: Translate the Sections

Sections correspond to the main categories of your price list, similar to a menu: Starters, Main Courses, Desserts.

In the Sections, click on each section to translate:

  • The section name

  • Its description

Each enabled language has its own tab, identifiable by its language code.

Step 3: Translate the Items

For each item in the price list, translate:

  • The item name

  • The description

  • Price variations, if applicable

Use Automatic Translation (Optional)

CentralApp offers automatic translation based on the original language, saving you time. Here's how to use it in the process:

  1. After enabling languages and translating your sections, click on Automatic Translation for each item.

  2. Then check the translations and adjust them if necessary, especially for:

    • Familiar expressions

    • Terms specific to your establishment
