Why Use Your Site Preview

The preview plays a key role in the quality of your site. It allows you to anticipate issues visible to your visitors and refine your presentation before going live. With the preview, you can specifically:

  • Check the overall layout: text alignment, section organization, menu readability.

  • Identify common errors before publication: text too long on mobile, poorly cropped image, hard-to-access button, or non-functional link.

  • Test design adjustments: colors, fonts, or layouts, without impacting your live site.

  • View your changes in real-time: each change is immediately visible in the preview.

Accessing Your Site Preview

  1. Log in to your CentralApp account.

  2. Go to your establishment's dashboard.

  3. Click the Preview button located at the top right of the screen.

Testing Display on Desktop and Mobile

Once in the preview, you can simulate your site's display on different screens to ensure an optimal experience for all your visitors. You can switch between modes using the icons located in the preview bar.

Desktop Mode

This mode displays your site as it appears on a computer screen. It is particularly useful for:

  • Checking the general structure of the pages

  • Controlling the size of images and titles

  • Evaluating reading comfort on a large screen

Mobile Mode

This mode simulates display on a smartphone or tablet. It is essential for:

  • Ensuring menus are easy to use

  • Making sure texts and images are not truncated

  • Confirming buttons remain accessible to touch

Testing a Theme and Design from the Preview

The preview also allows you to work on the overall appearance of your site without making these changes visible online. From the preview, you can access the theme manager to:

  • Compare different themes

  • Adjust colors and fonts

  • Check style consistency with your establishment's image

For example, you can test a lighter theme or a different font and immediately check the impact on readability, both on desktop and mobile.

  • Always check the preview before publishing your site

  • Consistently test display on both desktop and mobile

  • Proofread content and check links, images, and videos

  • Perform a final check after any theme or layout change
