Before publishing a catalog, ensure that:
The Product or Service Catalog feature is activated in your CentralApp interface.
Your detailed catalog or PDF is fully created.
Without activating the feature, no catalog can be displayed on your site.
Access Publication Settings
Once the feature is activated and your content is ready, you can set the publication parameters.
Open the relevant product or service catalog.
In the right panel, click on Publication.
Select the publication mode that suits your needs.
If you select a publication option without saving your choice, the publication will not be considered and the catalog will not be visible on your site.
Available Publication Options
CentralApp offers three publication options, applicable to all types of catalogs.
Permanent Publication
This option makes your catalog visible immediately on your site, with no time limit. Use if:
your products or services are available year-round;
you want continuous visibility without further intervention.
Publication from a Specific Date
This option allows you to schedule your catalog to go live on a given date. The catalog will be automatically published on the specified date. Use if:
you are preparing a new catalog;
you anticipate a product or service launch;
you are planning a significant update.
Publication for a Defined Period
This option allows you to publish a catalog for a limited time. CentralApp will automatically activate the catalog on the start date and deactivate it on the end date. Use if:
your products or services are seasonal;
you are offering a temporary promotion;
you are communicating around a specific event.
Publish According to Catalog Type
Once the publication option is chosen, the steps vary slightly depending on the type of catalog.
Publish a Detailed Catalog
A detailed catalog can include, for example, product or service sheets with descriptions, images, prices, variations, and attributes. Steps:
Select the desired publication option.
Choose whether to show or hide prices.
Click on Save.
Publish a PDF Catalog
A PDF catalog can correspond, for example, to a menu, a drink list, or a pricing brochure. Steps:
Click on Save.
Select the desired publication option.
Save.
Verify Your Catalog Display After Publication
After publishing your catalog, it is recommended to verify its display on your site to confirm that the publication has been successfully applied. If your catalog does not appear, check the following points:
the Product or Service Catalog feature is activated;
the activation button is green;
a publication option is selected;
your settings have been saved.
Without activating the feature or saving the publication settings, no catalog can be displayed on your site.
