What is Pirsch and Why Use It with CentralApp

Pirsch is a web statistics tool that analyzes your site's traffic without using intrusive cookies. It allows you to track the performance of your CentralApp site while respecting privacy regulations.

No technical configuration is required: Pirsch is automatically activated on your CentralApp site. You can access your statistics as soon as your site receives visits.

Specifically, Pirsch helps you answer key questions:

  • Which pages interest your visitors the most?

  • Where do they come from (Google, social networks, partners)?

  • Do your marketing actions actually generate traffic?

  • Does your site encourage booking, ordering, or contacting you?

Why Analyze Your Traffic Statistics?

Analyzing your statistics is not just about observing numbers. It is a true optimization lever for your site and business strategy. Here are the main benefits:

  • Identify your most viewed content: quickly spot the pages that attract the most visitors: menu, booking, events, contact... This way, you know which pages deserve to be updated or highlighted first.

  • Optimize your acquisition sources: understand where your visitors come from (Google, Instagram, newsletter, partner platforms like TheFork) to focus your efforts on the most effective channels.

  • Measure the effectiveness of your actions: analyze the real impact of your publications, campaigns, or changes on your site. For example, check if a new page or event generates more visits.

  • Improve user experience: a high bounce rate may indicate that the sought information is not visible or clear enough. This data helps you adjust your content and streamline the customer journey.

Understanding the Statistics Interface

The Pirsch interface is designed to be clear and readable. It allows you to analyze your overall performance and then refine your reading with different filters.

Filtering options of the statistics tool

The Period Selector

Located at the top right of the dashboard, it allows you to choose the period to analyze:

  • Quick presets: today, yesterday, last 7 days, last month.

  • Long-term view: last year to observe overall trends.

  • Custom calendar: ideal for measuring the impact of a specific event (holiday, promotion, menu change).

Filtering Options

To go further in the analysis, click on Filter on the left side of the screen. You can segment your data by:

  • Source: Google, Instagram, newsletter, etc.

  • Page: for example, the booking page or the menu.

  • Device: mobile or computer, to evaluate your site's ergonomics.

These filters allow you to understand your visitors' behavior more precisely.

Compare Your Performance Over Time

Comparative analysis is essential for measuring the real evolution of your site.

With Pirsch, you can compare your statistics with previous periods to:

  • Identify a real growth (e.g., 2025 vs. 2024).

  • Observe the seasonality of your activity (peaks during holidays or events).

  • Measure the impact of changes made to your site (new menu, new content, pricing changes).

Interpreting Results and Taking Action

Pirsch doesn't just display numbers: it helps you make concrete decisions.

Understanding Visual Indicators

  • Green indicators: your performance is improving.

  • Red indicators: a decline is observed and deserves further analysis.

Comparison of periods with indicators up or down.

Practical example: If you notice a significant increase in page views after adding a visible booking button, it indicates an improvement in the user journey. You can then apply this logic to other strategic pages, like the menu or events.

Conversely, a drop in traffic on a key page may signal outdated or poorly positioned content.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

To effectively interpret your statistics, Pirsch provides several essential indicators:

  • Unique visitors: measures your actual audience.

  • Page views: identifies the most viewed content.

  • Bounce rate: a high rate may indicate a clarity or relevance issue.

  • Session duration: helps evaluate visitor engagement.

  • Conversion goals: important actions like clicks on "Book" or "Order".

Additionally, you can analyze:

  • The most visited pages

  • Traffic sources

  • Geographical origin

  • Devices used

These data help you better understand your audience and adapt your content.

Best Practices for Optimizing Your Performance

To fully benefit from your statistics:

  • Analyze seasonality to anticipate slow or peak periods.

  • Optimize your key pages by highlighting important actions (book, order, contact).

  • Adapt your content according to your visitors' geographical origin (language, local information).

  • Track your changes over time rather than focusing on an isolated period.

By observing an increase in traffic on your menu page before the weekend, you can decide to highlight certain dishes or events at that precise moment. Statistics then become a real decision-making tool.
