When to Offer a Temporary Menu?
A temporary menu is ideal when you want to highlight content that is not meant to be permanently visible. You can use it for:
Holidays and Special Events: Christmas, Valentine's Day, Easter, Mother's Day...
A Seasonal Menu: winter menu, summer menu, autumn menu.
A Limited Offer: weekend brunch menu, collaboration with a guest chef, themed week.
A One-time Novelty: launch of a signature dish for a few days or weeks.
Publish a Temporary Menu
CentralApp provides you with 3 display modes to precisely control the visibility duration of your menu on your site. When publishing the menu, select one of these display options:
"during a specific period", your menu only appears during the period you choose. This is the ideal solution for a temporary or seasonal menu. For example, a Christmas menu visible from December 15 to 31. Once the end date is reached, the menu is automatically removed from your site.
"from a given date" allows you to schedule your menu publication in advance.
