Why Add a Cover Photo

A well-chosen cover photo allows you to:

  • Capture attention right from the homepage.

  • Showcase your establishment: display your dishes, your interior, or your storefront.

  • Encourage engagement: an attractive visual increases the time spent on the site and interactions (reservations, orders, contacts).

Concrete examples:

  • Signature dish on a neutral background.

  • Bright and welcoming interior.

  • Attractive storefront or event space.

Common Issues:

  • Photo not loading → check file format and size.

  • Blurry photo → use a higher resolution image.

Best Practices for Photos

  • Favor clear images, with few elements and no overloaded text.

  • Avoid important elements too close to the edges.

  • Use high-resolution photos for a sharp display on all devices.

  • Respect copyright: properly credit the image if it does not belong to you.

  • Recommended format: landscape, minimum 1000 × 600 px, ideally twice as large for optimal display.
