Why Use the CentralApp Booking Module
The booking module is ideal for establishments that do not use an external platform to manage their bookings.
This module allows you to:
Set up a booking form directly on your site, without a third-party service.
Offer your clients self-service booking for their rooms.
Receive all requests via email, allowing you to manage each booking manually.
Bookings are not automatically confirmed: each request must be manually validated by the establishment.
General Booking Process
Before starting the configuration, it is important to understand how the module works:
The client fills out the booking form on your site.
The request is sent via email to the defined address.
You check the availability and the information received.
You confirm or decline the booking manually.
This process allows you to tailor your response and verify each request before confirmation.
Activate the Booking Module
Log in to your CentralApp account.
Go to the Accommodation Bookings page.
Activate the feature so it is accessible on your website.
Once activated, the booking form is available and ready to be configured.
Configure the Booking Form
The form allows you to collect the necessary information to process a booking request.
Receiving email address: the address where you receive requests.
Minimum booking date: the first available date for booking.
Room selection: allow or disallow the choice of a specific room.
Define Availability and Exceptional Hours
Availability is based on your establishment's opening hours.
You can add exceptional hours to manage:
holidays,
temporary closures,
specific periods.
If your establishment is closed on a given date, no booking will be possible on that day.
Advanced Options and External Integrations
Once the basic configuration is complete, you can go further:
Advanced CentralApp solution: manage availability, confirmations, and cancellations from the interface.
Integration with an external partner: connect to a specialized tool to automate bookings.
These options are optional and can be activated according to your needs.
Best Practices
For effective booking management:
regularly check your booking emails,
confirm or decline requests promptly,
test the form after each modification,
adjust availability in case of exceptional closures.
