Why Manage Catalog Publication

Managing the publication of your catalogs allows you to:

  • Temporarily remove a catalog without losing it, for seasonal offers or updates.

  • Permanently delete a catalog when you no longer need it.

  • Keep your site up to date and provide a clear and consistent experience to your visitors.


How to Unpublish or Delete a Catalog

Unpublish a Catalog

  1. Access Product and Services Catalog in the site editor.

  2. Locate the catalog to unpublish.

  3. Click on the crossed-out eye icon.

The catalog becomes invisible to visitors but remains accessible in the Unpublished Catalogs section. You can republish or modify it at any time.

Delete a Catalog

  1. Unpublish the catalog as indicated above.

  2. In the Unpublished Catalogs section, click on the trash icon next to the catalog to delete.

Deletion is permanent and irreversible.


Best Practices

  • Unpublish rather than delete if you plan to reuse the catalog.

  • Regularly check unpublished catalogs to manage outdated content.

  • Maintain visual and structural consistency to facilitate reactivation or modification of catalogs.

  • Communicate important updates to your visitors to avoid confusion.
