Why Offer Phone Ordering
Even in the digital age, the phone remains an essential channel for your customers. CentralApp allows you to display your phone order information directly on your site:
Simplicity: your customers can call and order with one click on mobile.
Clarity: all information (order types, conditions, number) is visible.
Flexibility: you control the hours, minimum amount, and delivery conditions.
Starting with phone orders is an excellent first step if you don't have an external partner yet.
CentralApp does not provide an ordering solution or Click & Collect. The platform is only for integrating your existing partners or offering phone orders.
Before Setting Up
Prepare this information:
Phone number for orders
Types of orders: delivery, pickup, or both
Specific conditions: minimum amount, etc.
Ensure the number is correct and reachable before publishing it.
Set Up Phone Ordering
In the Site Editor, open the Orders section.
Enable Phone Ordering.
Enter:
Number to call
Order types (delivery, pickup)
Minimum amount and free delivery conditions
On mobile, the button automatically triggers the call. On desktop, the number should be displayed clearly for the customer to dial easily.
Best Practices
Test the button after each modification.
Always display clear information for the customer: order types and conditions.
Ensure your staff is ready to handle orders received by phone.
