Your Business Name
It must be the real, unique, and recognizable name by customers.
Your name must not include the following:
Legal information or company type designation: For example, "CentralApp SPRL" is not acceptable.
Advertising slogans: "Central Insurance, the best insurance in France" is therefore not acceptable as a name.
Store codes: "Starbuck 12PA" is therefore not acceptable.
Brand symbols (registered or not): "Burger King ®" is therefore not acceptable.
Emojis.
Words entirely in uppercase (except for acronyms).
Opening hours (including information indicating if the establishment is open or closed): "Central Pizzeria, open 24/7", "Central Café (closed)" are therefore not acceptable.
Phone numbers or website URLs.
Special characters: For example, %&$@/") are not accepted.
Information about a service or product of your establishment. Unless they actually appear in the name of your establishment or are necessary to identify a company's service.
Geographical information, such as a neighborhood, city, or street name, unless they actually appear in the name of your establishment (note: your name must not include any postal addresses or directions).
Categories
Choosing categories is one of the most important and strategic aspects of basic information on CentralApp. It is not just a classification, but a key driver for your visibility and access to features.
Main Category (Mandatory): you can only choose one. It must represent the main activity, that is, the core purpose of your establishment.
Secondary Categories (Optional): they should complement the main activity by listing significant secondary services or products you offer.
Do not choose the broadest category. Be as specific as possible for your main activity. If you have an Italian restaurant, do not put "restaurant" as the main category but rather "Italian restaurant".
Address and Location
To ensure your clients can easily find you, you must provide the precise and exact address of your establishment as recognized by most modern GPS systems.
The service area should only be completed if your business operates as a home service (traveling to the client, limited to certain industries).
Unsupported addresses?
There are many reasons why we might not recognize an address you have provided (new street, recent name change, poorly mapped area by Google, private enclosure, etc.). However, this only affects a very small number of establishments.
We invite you to contact our team if you are in this situation so that we can determine together the best address to indicate.
Contact Information
Provide all the contact details that clients can use to reach you directly:
Phone numbers: main, mobile, and fax (if applicable)
Email: the email address you actively use for your establishment. Make sure to provide an email address that is already in use and on which you can respond
Launch Date
Indicate the date your establishment was opened to the public. It is also possible to indicate a future date if the establishment is not yet open to the public. In this case, a pop-up will appear on your website's homepage indicating the upcoming opening date.
Verification of Your Page
Correctly filling out the Basic Information on CentralApp is crucial, as it serves to verify your establishment. Take the time to check their accuracy: this ensures the reliability of your profile for your clients and the consistency of your online presence.
