Invisible changes on my website

You’ve made changes to your site, but they don’t seem to appear online. Here are the three most common reasons and how to fix them.

Check the Site Preview

To make sure your changes have been saved before publishing, use the website preview. This lets you see your updates as they will appear online, even if visitors can’t see them yet.

1. Changes haven’t been saved

First, make sure you clicked “Save” after making your changes. If you leave the editor without saving, your changes won’t be recorded and won’t appear on your site.

2. The section hasn’t been published

On CentralApp, it’s possible to edit a section without publishing it immediately. Check that the section has been published. As long as the section remains in draft mode, your visitors won’t see any changes.

3. Server refresh

Sometimes your changes have been saved and published correctly, but the servers take a little time to update. In this case, wait 15 minutes and then reload your site to see your changes.
